This course will help you develop the most compelling characters, whether you’re writing a feature screenplay or a TV series script. Janna King and Izzy Kay will get you deeply familiar with your main character(s), antagonist, secondary character and ancillary characters (who also must be memorable). Through open discussion and entertaining exercises, this course is the foundation for any writing project. Assignments and feedback included.

A 4-week Zoom course focusing on your first 20-ish pages

Grab your readers/audience from Page 1 through your Inciting Incident, which will make them hold on 'til the very end of your movie. Janna King and Izzy Kay will cover all that it takes to make the most out of your first 15-20 pages. With a strong opening, you’ll have the confidence to continue writing a screenplay that’s entertaining and satisfying. This course includes assignments and feedback. Feature-length screenplays only.
